Distribution One an established ERP Software Company specializing in Wholesalers and Distributors is looking for a highly motivated individual for an outside sales position. The company is focused on building its client base in the small to mid-sized markets.

Job Description:

We are looking for a hunter to call on small and mid-market Wholesale and Distribution companies. Must have strong consultative sales experience doing in-person presentations to key executive level decision makers.

Duties:

  • You will be required to analyze and derive a clear understanding of the client’s issues, and validate, with honesty, integrity and ethics the proposed solution.
  • You will be required to travel extensively.
  • You will develop business strategies with the VP of Sales, which details activities to follow during the year.

Minimum Requirements:

3-5 Years track record of successfully meeting or exceeding quota.

Measurable success in selling large ($50K+), complex ERP solutions to business owners, CFO, CEO, GM, VP of operations or managers and warehouse-distribution industries is required.

A recent background in accounting, manufacturing, distribution software sales as well as experience selling any of the following applications: DYNAMICS, GREAT PLAINS, SOLOMON, NAVISION, AXAPTA, BEST MAS90, MAS200, MAS500, ACCPAC, EPICOR, PLATINUM, SAP, PEOPLESOFT, JD EDWARDS, ORACLE FINANCIALS, SALESLOGIX, SIEBEL, MS CRM or other mid level business applications.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Ability to manage 10 to 20 software evaluations per 90 day period.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Candidate must have a strong operations background with a good understanding of inventory control, manufacturing processes, CRM, procurement, accounting etc.

Above average level of technical proficiency with MS Office, Email, PowerPoint, Word, CRM systems necessary to conduct business related functions.

Strong Networking skills initiating and maintaining partnerships with associations

Education Requirements:

BS/BA/IT degree is strongly preferred.
